Frequently
Asked
Questions

  • What information does NCS need when I place my accounts?

The more information you can provide on day one, the better our chance of successful recovery. The name, address, and phone number of the responsible party, along with a copy of your most recent invoice, will get the process going. Any additional documents and information are helpful and encouraged. The more initial information we receive, the faster you will get your money.

  • What happens when I place an account with NCS?

The following takes place immediately upon placement:

    • Your data is generated into an electronic file, which is backed up in-house and on the cloud
    • An Acknowledgement is electronically forwarded to the Client
    • First Demand is sent to the Responsible Party
    • Your Account is analyzed, categorized and assigned to a highly qualified collections specialist
  • When do I get my money?

Factors on the speed of recovery include the quality of initial information, the age of the account, and the status of the responsible party. Rest assured that NCS will leave no stone unturned to recover your money. When we do, the funds are held in escrow for 30 days to guard against chargebacks or NSF checks. You can expect your money on or around the 20th day of the month after your funds are recovered.

  • Are there any advance or up-front fees?

NO. NCS is a contingency based Company. No costs are incurred until NCS successfully recovers your money. We don’t get paid until you get paid. Your success is our success.

  • What is the FDCPA?

FDCPA is the Federal Debt Collections Act. It governs collections throughout the nation. NCS collectors are trained, tested, and educated throughout the year on all aspects of collections. This training keeps NCS compliant while serving the interests of our Clients via thoughtful and disciplined collections.

  • How do I know my information is safe with NCS?
